VOL. 51 ISSUE 34 AUGUST 26, 2014 P61
and power—well, do I really need
to say anymore?
Husky claims that the FC350
makes 10 more horsepower
than the FC250, which is quite
a big difference. In fact, we're
talking 450cc numbers here.
On Husky's dyno, the 350 actu-
ally makes just six ponies less
than the FC450, and it should
be close, since it is designed to
compete against the 450s, not
the 250s.
I'm definitely looking forward to
putting more time on the FC350
on home soil.
FC450
The 4CS forks, smaller front axle,
revised linkage and shock—which
are all featured on all of the Husky
motocrossers—help to improve
the FC450's handling. We were
already impressed with the 2014
FC450 and even more so with
the '15. Its quick-revving SOHC
engine pumps out a claimed 60
horsepower and you can feel all
of them on the track that is for
sure. The FC450 definitely has
the most aggressive power of
all the Husqvarnas I rode. I tried
both ignition maps via the han-
dlebar-mounted switch. The first
setting results in an aggressive
hit down low, a long mid pull with
tons of torque and good over-rev.
The second position gives you
a smooth power delivery across
the board; there's a more lin-
ear feel without any reduction in
horsepower.
The Brembo hydraulic clutch
keeps the lever pull light on the
big-bore while providing plenty of
grab without being grabby. The
Husky's five-speed transmission
changes gears nicely, too.
I'm definitely impressed with
the FC450.

TE125
The new-to-the-U.S. TE125 is
light, very maneuverable and has
great ergos. This is the only Husky
(actually it already has). Throw
in electric starting, a hydraulic
clutch, powerful Brembo brakes,
proven WP suspension, black
D.I.D rims, machined hubs and
an eye-catching color scheme
and you have a bike that I would
be proud loading into the back of
my truck.
FC350
When it came to Husky's four-
stroke motocrossers, the new-to-
the-U.S. FC350 had me smiling
the most. After all, when you take
all of the good qualities of the
FC250 and throw in more torque
The TC350 is fast and fun.
The TC350 joins Husqvarna's
motocross lineup for 2015.
