Krenzul was one of AMA Pro Hillclimb's talented new riders coming into the series who was in second place in the championship point standings after five rounds "It is a great loss to the entire Hillclimb community to lose such a respectful kid with such prom- ise and he will be sadly missed by everyone," said AMA Pro Racing's Steve Whitehead. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends." According to reports, Krenzul crashed in Sturbridge, Massa- chusetts, and was the only vehi- cle involved in the incident. Kren- zul was treated at the scene and then taken to Harrington Memori- al Hospital in Southbridge, where he later was pronounced dead. Sixteen-year-old hillclimber Colin Krenzul was killed in a streetbike accident near his home in Massachusetts last week. KTM INTRODUCES SUPER ADVENTURE K TM says it has plans to ex- pand its Adventure range with the new 1290 Super Adven- ture, a motorcycle that builds on the current 1190 Adventure and is described by KTM as "the abso- lute pinnacle of luxury sport tour- ing riding." The Super Adventure features a bigger engine capacity to in- crease power and torque, and features what it calls Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC) system that was developed in associa- tion with KTM's technical part- ner, BOSCH. "The ABS and traction control systems are at the forefront of motorcycle safety and have a range of selectable presets as to not remove any rid- ing enjoyment," says KTM. The new 1290 Super Ad- venture will also feature further unique electronically supported riding assistance equipment. More details will be announced when the 1290 Super Adventure is officially launched at Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, on September 30. KTM is adding the 1290 Super Adventure to its adventure-bike lineup.
