KENDA AMA TENNESSEE KNOCKOUT EXTREME ENDURO,
FUELED BY MONSTER ENERGY AND PRESENTED BY MOOSE RACING AND SRT
rain and then the final was just the
nastiest five laps you could imag-
ine. When I got to the waterfall
there were a lot of lappers stuck
in there, so it was pretty gnarly,
but once I got through there it
was easy going to the finish line."
Grant Baylor got better as the
day went on. The KTM support
rider was eighth fastest during
the Hot Lap, and then finished
fourth in the first knockout round.
He won his heat in the second
knockout round and in the final
he finished third.
"I jumped out into second and
ran there for the first lap and a
half," said Baylor. "I waved Taylor
by on the second lap and then I
just kept an eye on Max, who was
about 15 seconds behind me.
When we got to the waterfall on
the final lap and it was a cluster,
I think the entire entry was stuck
there when I got to it. Max almost
got me, but I was able to hold him
off and find my way through the
mess and I made it to the check-
ered flag for third."
Wally Palmer had a good ride
on his Christini two-wheel drive,
including a clean run up the wa-
terfall to take sixth. N-Fab Am Pro
Yamaha's Paul Whibley was sev-
enth ahead of Ricky Russell, Zach
Love and Kyle Redmond. CN
