fourth, his best moto finish of the
season. He would do it one bet-
ter later. Savatgy's teammate Ja-
son Anderson came home fifth.
Nelson got another great start
in the second 250 moto, but this
track even made the best of rid-
ers look bad at times. Nelson
was up to nearly a four-second
lead when on the fourth lap he
fell over right into a big plastic
corner marker. The fall messed
up his rhythm and Nelson nev-
er seemed to recover. Savatgy
came up and passed Nelson
right at the finish-line jump. Nel-
son eventually fell back to eighth.
Savatgy held the number-one
spot in the middle sections of
the moto, but the French pair of
Musquin and Christophe Pourcel
were not far behind. Musquin got
by to take over the lead and then
late in the moto Pourcel moved
through as well.
The moto came down to the fi-
nal lap with Pourcel charging and
closing fast on Musquin. Pourcel
came up just 6-10ths of a sec-
ond short at the checkered flag.
Savatgy was 10 seconds back in
third. Baggett recovered from a
