So that spelled retirement
right? Well, not exactly. The Irish-
man has been doing some one-
off races and winning them – the
Northwest 200 Supertwins race
last year and, for the second year
in a row, McWilliams won the first
of two AMA Pro Vance & Hines
Harley-Davidson races at Indy, in
a class that is known for close,
tight racing. And if you added
up the guys' ages together that
joined him on the podium from
race one in Indy, that number
would be just three years his se-
nior at 53.
So, needless to say, when you
sit down for a chat with McWil-
liams, the age factor comes up.
