ody Webb continues to
be the man to beat when
it comes to extreme rac-
ing in the United States, the Beta
USA-backed Californian claiming
his second win at the prestigious
Tennessee Knockout, after dom-
inating all four elements of the
race: Hot Lap, Knockout Round
1, Knockout Round 2, and the
Final Knockout.
Now in its fourth year, this
year's TKO was one of the tough-
est yet due to a midday rainstorm
that filled the rocky gullies and
creeks, making them super slick

Briefly...
The TKO starts on Saturday with
nearly 150 amateur riders complet-
ing three laps on a fairly technical
14-mile loop. The top 40 riders were
invited to join 26 of the top expert
riders in the four round Knockout
format on Sunday. So a total of 66
riders started the morning Hot Laps.
FMF KTM's Steward Baylor injured
his hand in the first Knockout round
and was forced to pull out.
Cody Webb is no stranger to the
Trials Training Center and has ridden
and won a lot of trials event at the
venue. "I grew up riding trials at this
place and maybe it's an advantage
for me, because I know where the
slick stuff is going to be, but I put in
a lot of hard work for this and It feels
really good to win here," said Webb.
"I just used my trials technique and I
was able to stay on top of the rocks
and stay out of trouble."
