Bell had his bell rung a few times
this round with a couple of get
offs in the woods, which also
kept him off the podium for only
the second time this season with
a fourth-place finish.
"It was definitely a tough one
for me personally," Bell said. "I
was just riding a little too hard
and I crashed twice and hit my
head both times. The first time I
wrecked, there was a tree down
over the course, and I just went
down straight on my head. The
next couple laps were a little
fuzzy. I remember being behind
Justin Morgan and clipped a
pretty good size rock about the
size of a basketball. I clipped it
with both tires and it sent me for
a ride up in the trees. I laid there
for a couple minutes. I got back
on and I salvaged a fourth.
"It was a tough day, but with
having those issues and to come
away with a fourth is all right," Bell
added. "It's just a bummer for
me in the points, but congrats to
