took off like that. First, Pourcel
went by. Then came Baggett and
Rockstar Energy KTM's Jason
Anderson, and then after An-
derson crashed out of the moto,
Martin's own teammate Cooper
Webb caught and passed him as
well.
Baggett was on the move, and
he worked his way up to and by
Pourcel for second but fell just
a few turns later and remounted
fifth.
Musquin took the win by about
eight seconds over Pourcel, then
Webb, Martin, Baggett, and then
Anderson's teammate Joey Sa-
vatgy. Then came GEICO Hon-

TLD/Lucas Oil Honda's Cole
Seely, and GEICO's Zach Bell.

cool to see two French riders,
first and second,'" Musquin said
about moto one. "Especially here
in the US, I think it's kind of cool."
Pourcel grabbed the start in
moto two, but Bogle was quick-
ly by him for the lead. Pourcel
stayed close, but Musquin was
again the man on the move:
Starting just outside the top five,
Musquin passed Baggett for third
on the second lap, then passed
Pourcel for second a lap later
and set out after Bogle. It took
him a while to catch and pass
Bogle, but once he was in sec-
ond, it seemed predestined. He
took the lead just past the half-
way point, and that was it.
