MOTOCROSS
LUCAS OIL AMA PRO MOTOCROSS SERIES
ROUND 8/JULY 19, 2014
SPRING CREEK MX PARK/MILLVILLE, MINNESOTA
P52
"Moto one wasn't good for
me," said Webb. "I was coming
down the hill and I just ran into the
back of Bogle; I was just coming
in way too hot and I went down
and it ripped my grip off. I just did
the best I could but I ended up
with a ninth."
For sure, Webb was impres-
sive making his way through the
back of the pack, especially con-
sidering he had no grip on one
side of his handlebars.
In the second moto, Webb was
eighth at the end of the first lap,
but like he did in moto one, the
North Carolina rider make quick
and sure passes and eventually
passed Bogle on lap seven to
take the lead.
"I knew I had to be out front, in
that second moto, but I didn't get
the best start so I just went out
there and rode the best I could,"
said Webb.
Once in the lead, Webb stayed
on the gas until three or four
laps before the finish, and then
cruised in for his third moto win
of the season. CN
