While Johnson knows that the
consistency that podiums bring

former Grand National Champion
is eager to break his win drought
that goes back to the final round
of 2011 at Pomona - coinciden-
tally the victory that secured his
2011 championship.
"Still looking for my first win in
a long time," Johnson said. "So
it's a little frustrating, but we're
staying consistent. We're still
there in the points so we've just
got to keep plugging away."
Washington fans not only got
treated to the roar of twins for the
first time in over 30 years, but they
almost got to celebrate it with a
local-boy win as Sammy Halbert
and his South East Harley-David-
son looked to be the combination
to beat. Halbert was the fastest
qualifier, won the Dash for Cash,
Washington's Sammy Halbert (7)
looked to be the man to beat, leading
qualifying and taking the Dash for
Cash against the riders lined up to his
right – Brad Baker (1), Bryan Smith
(42), Jake Johnson (5), Kenny Cool-
beth (2) and Brandon Robinson (44).
