will eventually be a passing
of the baton in AMA Su-
perbike racing with veteran Josh
Hayes giving way to his hugely
talented young teammate Cam-
eron Beaubier. Hayes knows

way, Hayes seized his fourth race
win in a row and his fifth of the
season, padding his points lead

tion mark to the story of the 2014
season: Back off kid, the old man
ain't done yet!
Hayes was impressive on the
racetrack in the hills east of the
Monterey Peninsula, winning a
red-flag shortened race flag to
flag and crossing the finish line
with over three seconds in hand.
