BROWN HEADS TO CANADA
H
usqvarna's Mike Brown will spend his down
time from the AMA EnduroCross Champion-
ship up north to compete in the Rockstar Energy
Drink CMRA Canadian Motocross Nationals.
"We're really looking forward to having Mike
Brown up here to race the Nationals," said Cana-
dian race team manager Andy White. "He will be
racing the three July rounds of the series in the
MX1 class. We brought him up a couple years ago
to race and the fans loved it. Mike is the kind of guy
who always gives 110% so we know we're going to
have three good rounds with him."
Brown competed in his first race at Gopher
Dunes in Courtland, Ontario, on July 13, where he
finished 10th overall on the extremely sandy circuit,
which many consider the most demanding track on
the 10-round CMRA schedule.
Brown started off the first moto in 11th place, but
steadily worked his way up to sixth before it was all
over. In the second moto, he started off in 11th and
pretty much stayed there.
Ultimately, the race was won by Canada's own
Colton Facciotti followed by Kyle Chisholm, Bobby
Kiniry, Tyler Medaglia and Teddy Maier. Josh Hill
finished sixth and Mike Alessi was eighth.
Brown will also compete in the upcoming Sand
Del Lee (July 20) and Deschambault (July 27)
rounds.
Kawasaki will offer only 300 30th Anniversary 2015 ZX-14R ABS,
which is dressed up like the original Ninja 900 of 1984.
