PRESENTED BY MOTOWORKS AND DIRT BIKE
VOL. 51 ISSUE 28 JULY 15, 2014 P119
weekend.
"It was a bummer day for me, I got
off to a decent start probably mid-
pack and passed my way into second
behind Taylor, and then Ivan went by
me," Sutherlin said. "I was struggling
with my bike, all of sudden about two
laps in, it started getting slow down
the straights and just wasn't pulling,
and I had to come into the pits and get
a new fuel injector, so it was a really
bummer day, especially seeing Robby
get second. Congrats to Taylor for
coming in and winning, wish I was up
there battling with those guys, but un-
fortunately that's racing, and we'll just
put our head down and move forward
on to Washington and get back on the
top of that box."
In the Pro 2 class, RPM/KTM's Tra-
vis Coy extended his winning streak to
four straight, which extends his points
lead in the championship race to 25
points over second placed Matthew
Maple. Husqvarna-mounted Justin
Morgan led the majority of the race til
experiencing bike issues in the final
laps, which allowed Coy to take over
the lead and win.
"Fourth win in a row and I'm happy,"
said Coy. "It's going to make the rest
of the year a little more relaxing, so I'm
pretty happy with that."
David Broderick claimed the sec-
ond spot on the Pro 2-class podium
with Mathew Maple rounding out the
podium in third.
In the Pro 2 Lites class, Michael Del
Fante claimed his second straight win,
as he charged from the third spot and
