T
he Italian manufacturer Beta
introduced its line of 2015
off-road and dual sport
models, and the big news is its
revamped line of four-strokes, with
new engine displacement and
fuel-injection for the RR 350 EFI.
The remaining four-strokes are still
carbureted.
2015 Beta RR 350 EFI
The Beta RR 350 EFI is the com-
pany's first fuel-injected off-roader.
It is basically an all-new motor, as
are the motors in the rest of Beta's
four-stroke line. They are lighter than
the previous motors and are offered
in new displacements. Beside the RR
350, there is now the RR 390, RR 430
and RR480 models, and they are all
carbureted. They all feature updated
48mm Sachs forks and revised shock
settings. Beta has also expanded its
dual sport line to three models: RS
390, RS 430 and RS 500, and they all
feature the Trail Tech Voyager GPS as
standard equipment. Beta says that
the list of changes between the RS
and RR models "is very short."
