So are the results. In this way
Australian Anthony West was able
to score a fine win in Moto2, on a
bike that on a normal track sees
him battling to get into the top 10.
It was a second career win for the
oldest rider in the class (32). The
last one was 11 years ago, also at
Assen, and also in the wet-and-
dry.
The early laps were wet and
treacherous with Andrea
Dovizioso (04) doing most of the
leading over Marquez (93), Dani
Pedrosa (26) and the rest of the
MotoGP pack.
