the crowd and perhaps everyone
but himself by out trapping Jan-
niro and leading him. Janniro
gave it all of his might with some
blistering outside speed, but
could not close ground on his
rival. The shocked crowd looked
on for what would be a monu-
mental upset, only for Ruml to
enter the final turn with too much
speed. He was left with no option
but to shut off power or end up in
the crashwall, so Janniro took full
advantage moved inside to win,
though Ruml recovered to get
the second transfer spot to the
Big Final. Eddie Castro and Blair
were eliminated.
The final saw the defending
champion up against three young
rivals: Manzares elected the out-
side starting spot, Janniro chose
gate three, Ruml took gate two,
leaving Novratil on the pole. Jan-
niro made a perfect start and led
Manzares and Ruml into turn one
and around the back straight-
away. The speed was sensational
but the positions didn't change
as Janniro led home the rising
stars behind him for his second
victory of the series.
Janniro takes an eight-point
lead over Ruml going into round
three at Industry Hills on August
9. The championship concludes
September 19 at Fast Fridays
Speedway in Auburn.

LCR AND GRESINI TO
HAVE OPEN SEATS?
W
ho-goes-where in MotoGP
for 2015 remained fluid for
another race with the latest ad-
ditions to the wish list, the satel-
lite Honda seats at Lucio Cec-
chinello's LCR team and Fausto
Gresini's Go&Fun squad.
Both current incumbents need
to deliver in the second half of
the season.
Stefan Bradl is the more se-
cure with LCR, since the German
continues to knock on the door
of the top five, although without
showing significant progress.
Go&Fun man Alvaro Bautista
has hit the ros-
trum at Le Mans,
but in a typically
patchy season
that began with
three race crash-
es and has fallen
short of the high
life at several other races.
Candidates for the coveted
seats are not numerous, and
often already half-snagged
elsewhere in the web. Andrea
Dovizioso's name is often men-
tioned; while Cal Crutchlow
might also be available. At the
same time, Scott Redding has
made a strong class debut, and
might reasonably hope to be pro-
moted within the Gresini team.
