gave me second overall."
Fahringer said after the race
that he's tired of coming from the
back of the pack after getting off
to a slow start, but that's exactly
what he had to do once again.
"The first section was really
over-grown and I was really un-
comfortable riding race-pace and
not being able to see," he said. "I
ended up going down and I was
sitting around 10

the second test. We made a few
adjustments and started to get
back into a groove and, in the
fourth test, I started to work my
way back up."
Fahringer turned up the heat
in the fifth test when he posted
the fastest time, but the Husqvar-
na pilot came up just short of
catching Baylor for second
place. However, his podium fin-
ish moved him ahead of Mullins
in the championship chase with
four rounds remaining on the
schedule.
"Brad and I battled in the fifth
and sixth test and that kind of
slowed both of us down, but I
ended up third overall for the day,
