and defense to take second with
a few seconds to spare over Bla-
zusiak, who slipped past Robert
late in the race.
"Colton and I were having a
great battle for the lead," Webb
said, "and he made a clean pass
on the inside of that flat corner
after the water and I just got into
that next turn a little too hot. And
then I cleaned out Taylor as I tried
to get up so I am sorry for that but
I am happy to ride strong and be
on the podium again and main-
tain the red plate."
After getting pushed to the
back of the pack right off the
start, Blazusiak, on the Red Bull
KTM, slowly worked his way
through the field to move into
fourth and then make a pass on
Robert when he got stuck in a
rock section on lap 10 of 15. The
Austin X Games Enduro X winner
held the final podium position to
the end, while Robert had to be
satisfied with fourth.
"This was a great track and
allowed for a lot of passing be-
cause there were not obstacles
in most of the corners," Blazusiak
said. "I am happy to finish third af-
ter such a bad start and I had a
lot of fun passing riders."
KTM rider Cory Graffunder
rounded out the top five, followed
by Husqvarna's Mike Brown, Be-
ta's Max Gerston and KTM riders
Geoff Aaron, Gary Sutherlin and
Ty Tremaine.
Only three points separate the
top three as Webb holds a one-
point lead over Haaker and a
three-point gap on Blazusiak. CN
