eville. The track was laid out on the
infield of a stock car oval and was
longer and more open than a typi-
cal EnduroCross. "I was hitting third
gear twice per lap, but it also had a
technical rock section and a large tri-
ple jump that Mike Brown was doing
to make up a lot of time," Webb said
of the course. The event featured a
$7,500 pro purse and attracted 43
riders that were split into two class-
es. Colton Haaker took the win in
the "Gold" class over Cody Webb
and Mike Brown.
In the Women's class 17-year-old
Morgan Tanke claimed the win.
Chantelle Bykerk, the defend-
ing Women's Champion, claimed
second overall after passing Rily
Elinger on the last lap. Elinger held
on for third and her first podium.
Austin Schiermeister won the Am-
ateur class over brothers Trystan
and Wyatt Hart of Canada. Jason
Gitchel took the Vet-class win over
Kane Silverberg and Kelly Gel-
haus. Joey Fiasconaro was the Tri-
alsCross winner, with Nathan Brown
taking second and Michael Sals-
man third.
