here's nothing like winning
your home Grand Prix and
it happened in all three
classes at Catalunya. Decisively,
in the smaller classes, breath-
takingly narrowly in the big one.
It ended with a seventh win in a
row for Marc Marquez, and it was
the toughest and possibly best
in the 21-year-old's glittering and
still-blossoming career.
To add icing to a remarkable
day's racing, it was Honda's 100th
win in the four-stroke MotoGP
class (vs. Yamaha's 79), and with
the younger Marquez, Alex, also
winning in Moto3, making it the
first-time ever two brothers have
won on the same day.
The northwest region of Spain
has produced the best riders in
the country in recent decades,
thanks to a long tradition of en-
