PATON AND THE TT

he Paton S1 made its
debut at this year's Isle
of Man TT last week, the
street-legal bike turning its
first laps of the course with
rider Olie Lindsdell in prep-
aration for its racing debut
in the Lightweight TT.
The new streetbike's de-
sign is inspired by classic
1960s motorcycles and is
powered by a Kawasaki
engine in racing trim. It
also gets titanium Termi-
gnoni exhausts, magne-
sium Marvic wheels, TK
disk brakes and Brembo
racing calipers.
"Running in the Light-
weight category a
few months after the
EICMA presentation
is a great opportunity
for us," said Paton
CEO Mario Pagani.

part of the new Paton
product and market-
