VOL. 51 ISSUE 23 JUNE 10, 2014 P23 concern at the minute. I spoke to William's girlfriend… He's con- scious. He's awake. And he's all right. Just a suspected broken leg, but he's going to be alright which is the main thing for me." And at the end of the day Dun- lop was happy to win a race that he lost to John McGuiness last year. The most important one. "I done my bit for BMW and at the start of the week this was a personal goal for me. And I want- ed to win the Superbike race [Se- nior TT] and when I'm home last year, when John [McGuiness] had beat me last year and said this was the main race to win. Dunlop leaves the line in the second Supersport TT, which he won on Wednesday of last week. That's why I wanted to get it." As for the older Dunlop, he'd given his brother a scare but all was good. "I could hardly feel the bars, but when you are getting P1 and P2 signals there's no way you are going to back-off. I think I just ran into Graham Memorial with a little bit of throttle still-on and the rest… Well, it's just the small bone in my leg I've broken and I'm a little bat- tered and bruised, but I hope to be ready to ride in four weeks." Parsons got his in the Moto X Best Whip final where, after six minutes of competition, he wowed the judges — fans voting via Twitter — with his bag full of tricks. He got 33 percent of the vote, followed by Silver medalist Jeremy Stenberg, who pulled 23 percent of the voting. Third most popular and taking home the Bronze medal was Josh Hansen with 18 percent of the voting. This was Parsons' first attempt in the Best Whip competition. Renner had little difficulty win- ning the Moto X Step Up Final. His winning jump of 34 feet was more than enough for him to Ronnie Renner claimed his sixth X Games Gold medal in the Moto X Step Up Final. continued on page 24
