VOL. 51 ISSUE 23 JUNE 10, 2014 P55
A
ll of the 2015 KTM SX-F mo-
tocrossers took on many
changes but the most nota-
ble is the swap to WP 4CS forks
for all SX-F and SX big-bike mod-
els.
All of the four-stroke SX-Fs
also got a new machined cross-
tube on the frame, new linkage
geometry with an improved rising
rate that KTM says provides bet-
ter control, stability and balance.
There's also a smaller diameter
axle, a 2mm reduced off-set,
new fork protectors, updated
triple clamps, a new shock with
new settings, new black-colored
Excel rims and softer two-com-
pound grips. The 250 and 350
SX-F gets the same changes,
except the 350 gets a lighter
swingarm and both the 350 and
250 get a lighter sprocket. Both
the 250 and 350 SX-Fs now
have a lighter clutch basket, and
all three feature a new O-ring on
the oil pump suction screen for
increased durability.
All of the four-stokes come fit-
ted with Dunlop Geomax MX52
tires.
