TM took the wraps off its
complete line of 2015 mo-
tocrossers, which includes 10
models: 50 SX, 50 SX Mini, 65
SX, 85 SX, 125 SX, 150 SX, 250
SX, 250 SX-F, 350 SX-F and
450 SX-F. All of the minicycle
models (50, 65 and 85) receive
new Maxxis tires and graphics,
as well as other internal changes
throughout, and the big bikes
take on a handful of upgrades,
mainly to the suspension and
chassis.
The SX big-bike models get
a new frame design with a ma-
chined cross tube to connect the
frame sides and linkage, and the
frames are now painted orange.
They also get the new WP 4CS
fork valved specifically for North
America motocross tracks.
The front axle has been re-
duced in size from 25mm to
20mm to reduce weight by 40
grams and the axle offset has
been adjusted from 35mm to
33mm, which increases the trail
to provide more stability.
In the back, the big bikes get
a new linkage with a revised ris-
ing rate that utilizes a higher
starting rate and provides a flat-
ter, less progressive curve. The
WP shock is new and revalved to
match the new chassis package.
A new black-anodized triple
clamp is slightly lighter. Overall,
the new chassis is said to be
about a pound lighter.
The SXs also get black rims
with black spokes and silver an-
odized aluminum nipples.
All of the bikes are fitted with
Dunlop's new Geomax MX52
tires.
All of the 2015 KTM SX (moto-
cross) full-size models feature
many changes to the chassis and
suspension (pictured is the 2015
450 SX-F).
