2014 AIRES AMA NATC MOTOTRIAL USA NATIONAL SERIES OFF ROAD STORY AND PHOTOGRAPHY BY SHAN MOORE I n the past, Pat Smage has been known for getting off to relative- ly slow starts, despite the fact that he owns six US National Tri- als titles. This year was different. In Texas Creek, Colorado, home of the opening two rounds of the 2014 Aires AMA NATC Mo- toTrials US National Champion- ship Series, Smage was decisive and solid from the get-go, and fin- ished out the two-day event with a pair of dominating victories. Colorado is always a tough venue for the MotoTrials Series, considering it is usually a high- altitude event. There is also the excellent traction found on the ROUNDS 1-2/MAY 24-25, 2014 TEXAS CREEK, COLORADO P110 Pat Smage had little troubles winning both rounds of the AMA NATC MotoTrial rounds at Colorado.
