himself barely twice that behind
Bautista, by the end.
Bradl was seventh, well out of
touch with Lorenzo and well clear
of a lively battle for eighth.
Monster Tech 3 Yamaha's
Bradley Smith had got the bet-
ter of the fading Dovizioso by
half distance at the same time
as slow-starting Aleix Espargaro
on the NGM Yamaha had closed
from behind, with Ducati's Cal
Crutchlow seesawing nearer and
further in his wake.
Aleix Espargaro took to the
head of the group, but Dovizioso
had enough to reassert himself
over the final laps, with Espar-
garo and Smith right behind.
Crutchlow was a couple of times
in a challenging position, but
then losing touch again.
"When I am riding alone I
can go faster and catch up,"
Crutchlow explained. "Then
when I am following I can't brake
as hard as the one in front and I
lose touch again."
