AMA HALL OF FAMER DON EMDE COMPLETES HISTORIC
CROSS COUNTRY CANNON BALL RIDE ON SUPER TÉNÉRÉ.
DON EMDE
SUPER TÉNÉRÉ
®
Congratulations to AMA Hall of Famer Don Emde who, along with a group of fellow riders, just completed a commemorative coast-to-
coast journey in less than 12 days. The Cannon Ball Centennial Ride retraced the same route racing legend Erwin George "Cannon
Ball" Baker rode in a record-shattering 11.5 days a century ago. Emde, winner of the 1972 Daytona 200, led the modern-day group on
his Yamaha Super Ténéré, departing San Diego on May 3rd and finishing the ride in New York City just as Baker did 100 years ago to
the day. Way to go, Don, and thanks for being such a devoted member of the Yamaha family for over four decades!
AFTER 42 YEARS
HE'S MORE HALL OF
FAME THAN EVER.
