He was untouchable, led
over the line each time out to
give nobody else a chance and
went from a humble fourth in the
championship to the lead - if only
by four points to the man who did
the double at Imola last time out:
Kawasaki's Tom Sykes.
Imola does like to deliver a
double - as Carlos Checa took
both race wins for Ducati in 2012
- but that does not even dent the
resurrection that the Pata Honda
team has made from Rea's usual
slow season start.
Chaz Davies (7) had a good day
on the Ducati Panigale, finishing
second to Rea in both races.
