"Bondo' [Bobby Bonds] was
running good in the beginning,
but he started slowing down,
and that's when I started get-
ting in my groove after struggling
with a little bit of arm pump at the
beginning of the race," Suther-
lin said. "I wasn't really a big fan
of the course, it's just flat and
rough, square edges, just GP
you could say, and I guess that's
the challenge of racing WORCS.
GPs one weekend and off-road
the next, that's WORCS rac-
ing, so I just got to up my game
on the fast and sketchy stuff I
guess."
Sutherlin attempted to catch
Bell in the final laps of the race,
but Bell never allowed Sutherlin
to close the gap by much more
than 30 seconds with Sutherlin
taking the checkered flag in the
second spot for the first time this
year, which dropped Sutherlin's
points lead down to 19 points
heading into the second half of
