CN III VOICES L E T T E R S T O T H E E D I T O R "It is pretty obvious that he isn't having any fun anymore." All About beIN And World Supers Per Eddie Farr's letter in Voices this week (Issue 17, April 29) and his inability to find World Superbike on BeIN channel on Direct TV. The BeIN Channel is located in the optional DirectTV Sports Channel package at Chan- nel 620. The DirectTV Search Browser easily finds both the BeIN Channel and World Super- bike race coverage. I set my DirectTV Genie to automatically record all World Superbike coverage starting last year in 2013, so I can come home every Sunday after my morning ride to find the week- end's race coverage waiting for me and my buddies to watch. Or I can watch it live when it comes in from Europe as early as 5 a.m. in the morning. BeIN provides both live Superpole coverage on Saturday, and Sun- day's race one and race two, with a rebroadcast of both races usually again later on Sunday evening. The BeIN network commentators who preview each show are very attractive and well spoken, and the actual race broadcasts are handled by Jonathan Green and Steve Mar- tin - the best motorcycle road racing commentators on TV. They personally know every team rider and manager, talk to them all before the races, and during the race broadcast they convey to the viewer detailed information and insights that can't be equaled by anyone else in motorcycle race broadcast- ing. In fact, it was Jonathan Green who also assisted with NBC Sports 2 coverage of the U.S. MotoGP race coverage at Circuit of the Americas two weeks ago. And for motocross fans I should point out that the BeIN Channel 620 on DirectTV also covers FIM World Motocross, both the Moto1 and Moto2 classes. Just set the Genie to automati- cally record whenever it broad- casts from around the world and watch it when you want. Jim Gianatsis Via the Internet All About beIN And World Supers II I am a Direct TV subscriber and get the World Superbike feed on the beIN network in the Min- neapolis/St. Paul area. I had to take on other premium chan- nels in a package that included beIN, but the coverage is worth it. The commentary is excellent, the coverage is extensive and it keeps me sane with TV cover- age of AMA so goofed up. Hats off to Fox Sports for their cover- age of MotoGP. Mark Junkersfeld Via the Internet Many thanks to all the readers who responded to help out Eddie Farr. These two should take care of it… Editor. Villopoto Crowned! Ryan Villopoto on top again. I have a feeling we're going to see him go out on top and retire early, which will be a bummer for us fans. I really wanted to see him battle the Euros in another MX des Nations. Terry Heath Via Facebook What Will Villopoto Do? I bet Ryan Villopoto retires. Ei- ther he retires or takes a break to get the spark back. It is pretty obvious that he isn't having any fun anymore. It isn't like he needs the money. Fred DeFord Via Facebook What Will Villopoto Do II? The human body can only take so much punishment. He has nothing to prove. There should be a longer time between Supercross and motocross and racing every week is great for TV, but these guys are beating themselves to death. Mike Stark Via Facebook Master Mechanic The unsung hero (Mike William- son "Roaming Wrench," Issue #16, April 22, http://cyclenews. uberflip.com/i/29885/56)… giving it up for the champ.
