IN THE WIND P24 ESLICK OUT OF BRITISH SUPERSTOCK I t looks like Danny Eslick won't be able to finish his debut sea- son of the British National Su- perstock Series, the ILR Kawa- saki team lacking the financial backing for any further rounds. "Headed to the airport," Es- lick wrote on his Facebook page on Sunday, April 27. "Just want to say thanks to everyone who made my trip to England a very memorable experience. I'm not ready to leave yet as there's a lot of paint to be traded in the British Championship. Thank you." Eslick finished eighth in the series opener at Brands Hatch and was looking forward to rac- ing at Oulton Park, a track where this year's Daytona 200 winner had tested. "All this of course takes finan- cial backing, and with the 2014 team budget already allocated, this unfortunately means that it is not possible to fully fund this venture with the full support it deserves," the team stated. "This is a shame for since arriv- ing on these shores a few weeks ago, the talented American has proven to be a rider of impecca- ble character and professional- ism, and extremely popular with his fellow competitors, race fans and the media alike." It looks like Danny Eslick's season of British Superstock racing is over as the team lacks the funds to continue. PHOTOGRAPHY BY BRIAN J. NELSON AN AGO MV N ot many names in motorcy- cling are linked as closely as MV Agusta and Giacomo Agos- tini. And now there's an MV F3 800 done up in the tri-color and gold that makes it impossible not to think of the 15-time World Champion. Dressed in red, white and green with gold accents, the F3 800 AGO features upgrades such as carbon fiber front and rear fenders. It also gets ABS, forged wheels and aluminum- alloy footpegs. The bikes will come with plaques that will feature a certi- fication number and Ago's auto- graph will be featured on the top of the fuel tank. Buyers will also get a signed certificate by Agos- tini. Only 300 of the F3 800 AGO edition MVs will be made and they are expected to be available in May. They will sell for 23,990 Euros with U.S. pricing and avail- ability yet to be determined.
