those was the first 450 moto that
was the second race of the day
on Friday on what was a heav-
ily watered (and muddy) track,
where the Ohioan put his previ-
ous skills as an off-road/GNCC
racer to good use. He came from
behind to pass Jayme Gardiner III
(Suzuki) for the win.
Washington's Carson Brown,
on the BBR/Redline Motorsports
KTM, was a big winner at the
World Minis. He went home with
three titles in the 85/150 Stock
and Modified (14-16), and 112
Supermini Thru-16 classes. He
came close to a fourth title in the
85/150 Open class but a first-lap
mishap in the second moto cost
him a chance for the overall. He
settled for fifth overall with a 1-10.
Husqvarna was officially rep-
resented by one rider – Ciaran
Naran - during the week. Aboard
his TC85, the Californian won the
first 112 Supermini Thru-13 moto
and was leading the first Super-
Naran gave Husqvarna
a championship in
the 125/250 2-Stroke
Intermediate Non-Pro
Thru-17 class.
