t was almost a perfect day for
Justin Jones. The ravenous
Glen Helen-native was armed
and ready to snatch up the li-
on's share of the $1600 purse
at the 2014 MTA World 2-Stroke
Championship, and up until the
last lap of the second moto, it
looked like Jones was going to
do exactly that. Unfortunately,
after grabbing a big holeshot,
gapping the field and leading
every lap of the second moto,
Jones' day came to a prema-
ture end with half a lap to go.
