T
he second annual Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas in
Austin, Texas, saw more of the same – a spectacular per-
formance by Marc Marquez. The youngster on the Repsol
Honda makes the Circuit of the Americas look like his personal
playground – almost taunting fate and his opponents with slides,
stoppies and extreme lean angles.
But Marquez wasn't the only one enjoying his day at the office.
From its signature tower to the impressive turn-one climb and
beautifully painted curbing, the Circuit of the Americas is also
a playground for photographers. So here's a look back at Texas'
crown jewel of a racetrack and a glimpse behind the scenes at
the second round of the 2014 MotoGP World Championship. CN
