VOL. 51 ISSUE 16 APRIL 22, 2014 P111
ROCKY MOUNTAIN MC WORLD OFF-ROAD CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES PRESENTED BY MOTOWORKS AND DIRT BIKE
for the points lead with Steve Gib-
son, with each having two wins
and with Gibson's absence on
Sunday after suffering a DNF on
Saturday in the 450A class.
In the Pro 2 Lites Class, Jesse
Lundin not only secured his first
podium finish, but also the class
win on his #140 Yamaha. Alex
Morgan finished in the second
spot, and Michael De Fante ex-
tended his points lead with his
third podium finish of the year.
Lundin grabbed the Pro 2 Lites
Holeshot, but he dropped back
to second when Blayne Thomp-
son charged into the lead before
the end of lap one. Thompson's
charge ended after two laps and
Lundin eventually dropped all the
way back to fourth. But Lundin
gradually worked his way back to
the front, taking over the lead in
the final lap for the win. CN
