the course was sand, most rac-
ers stuck with their standard
moto tires with great success.
Sutherlin grabbed the hole-
shot on his KTM and the first turn
was the closest the competition
would ever get to Sutherlin. By
the end of the first lap, Sutherlin
had already established a com-
fortable thirty-second lead over
Justin Seeds in the second spot.
"I grabbed the holeshot and
jumped out to an early lead,
which I haven't done all year,"
Sutherlin said. "So I couldn't
have been happier with the new
Dunlop MX11. I picked good lines
and rode a solid pace hitting my
lines every lap and didn't make
any mistakes."
