I couldn't start my bike and went
back a bunch of spots."
Damage control in the remain-
ing laps allowed Udall to regain
an overall podium finish, and
Dubach went unchallenged to a
strong second-place finish in the
moto.
Dubach's overall finish might
have been much better had it not
been for misfortune in the first
moto. A mishap on the opening
lap saw him come around in dead
last, forcing him to play catch-up
for the remaining 11 laps. Still, the
seasoned Yamaha veteran was
happy to salvage a podium finish.
Honda-mounted Brad Nau-
ditt claimed fourth overall with
a strong 5-3 finish while MXA's
Dennis Stapleton piloted his KTM
to fifth overall with a 4-4 score.
Top honors in the 125 Pro class
went to Drew Gosselaar. The
Suzuki-mounted racer bested
his big brother, Chris, to take the
win, and made it a perfect score
with another win in the second
moto.
The Women's Pro class raced
alongside the 125 Pros, and Ta-
tum Sik sailed to a perfect 1-1
score to take the win.
Other winners on the day were
Casey Keast in the 85 division,
Gary Jones (60+) and Pete Mur-
ray, who topped both the 40+
and 50+ classes. CN
