art. "But we extended the cham-
pionship one more race, there
was just nothing we could do to-
night."
Dungey's race outcomes are
usually determined by his starts,
and in Seattle the Red Bull KTM
rider got a good one, coming out
of the first turn in second behind
Villopoto.
Briefly...
Weston Peick had a tough ride in
the 450 main, though it didn't start
off too bad. The privateer, who an-
nounced earlier in the week that he'll
join the Soaring Eagle/RCH Suzuki
Team for the upcoming outdoor Na-
tionals, started about seventh in the
main and then Justin Barcia came up
under him in a turn and washed the
front end. Peick was in 13th when he
got going again and by that time ev-
eryone had already checked out. "I
just put my head down and tried to
make some passes but I ended up
crashing again and I ended up set-
tling for 11th."
Although Dean Wilson has already
revealed his plans to move up to the
450 Supercross class in 2015, after
his fourth place finish in Seattle, he
has officially pointed out of the 250
Supercross class. He did so by ac-
cumulating a total of 135 points in
three separate seasons of Super-
cross. Wilson will be one of the top
rookies making their full-time debut
next year.
"I just didn't ride very well," Ken Roc-
zen said of his seventh-place finish.
The Red Bull KTM rider started off in
fourth but fell in the whoops, costing
him positions. "I'm really lucky that I
managed to save myself from crash-
ing in those whoops. That could've
ended up a lot worse. I just didn't
find my rhythm again after that. I bat-
tled with 'Shorty' [Andrew Short] and
Canard for quite a bit but I just didn't
have my A game on tonight."
