Trey Canard, Barcia had to come
from outside the top 10 at the be-
ginning of the race.
In the meantime, Canard came
from nearly last after the start to
finish sixth, and perhaps might
have been a podium finisher had
he gotten a better start.
Roczen was impressive in
practice, and turned the fastest
lap time, but lost a bit of his spark
in the main event and struggled
to make passes.
Andrew Short ran near the
front early in the race on his BTO
Motorsports KTM, but struggled
with the changing conditions and
settled for eighth.
"I got a really good start, but
the track was brutal," said Short.
