OFF ROAD
AMA/SRT HARE & HOUND NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
ROUND 4/APRIL 13, 2014
JOHNSON VALLEY OHV AREA/LUCERNE VALLEY, CALIFORNIA
P116
Briefly...
have blown down more course rib-
bons and arrows at this race, though,
which made following the course
trickier for whoever was in front. In
fact, 200cc A winner Sam Bangert
offered, "I want to thank [Dan] Cap-
parelli for helping us out because
[Ben Meza and I missed one turn
and we ended up going straight.
Capparelli told us there was a check
back there. If he hadn't been there,
we would've kept on going and we
would've missed the check and got
DQed so a big shout out to him, for
sure! When I got [to the check], I was
like, 'Hey, there are some markings
down" and they were already on it
so that was really good on So Cal's
part."
After a run of runner-
up results in 200cc A,
Sam Bangert finally
got that elusive first
win in what is his first
full season as an A.
Utah's Caitlyn
Kurtz overalled
the combined
Girls/Micro Mini
(65cc) race on
Saturday, then
won Women C on
Sunday.
