"I didn't get the best start; I just
got out-pulled up that hill - missed
a couple shifts," TBT/Motul/Klim
498 RR-mounted Burson said. "I
made some moves and caught
up. We were all in a freight train."
However, his train slowed con-
siderably later in the race when
he lost fourth and fifth gears. "I
don't know what happened so
the whole second loop, I had to
go from third to sixth! I was strug-
gling and I rode horrible after that.
I think I had my best riding today
and my worst, all in one day!
"The first loop, I rode really
good. I put on a charge and
caught - I've never caught those
guys before. I reeled them in and
passed them all.
"The second loop, I rode like a
squirrel and just struggled."
Burson's teammate Justin
Morrow settled into fourth while
Max Eddy Jr. won Vet A and was
the top finishing A rider overall at
fifth place. Brandon Prieto, Sky-
ler Howes, Irving Powers and
Levi Hutching rounded out the
top 10. CN
