It really makes a dif- ference not having to stop and come into the pits every time you want to make a change. Little things like that is a big deal in my opinion. "I was quite happy after I went two clicks up on compression and one click out on the rebound with the forks," Abbott said. "With the shock, I went two up on the com- pression, one out on the rebound, and went eight on the high-speed compression. After that, I could ride the bike all day long and focus on my lap times and lines. Simply put, the KTM's suspension is quite good right out of the box and a definite im- provement over the standard, but I would like to get the bike on a rough- er track some time." Abbott that the new 4CS WP fork just feels plusher in the initial stroke yet maintained excellent bottoming resistance. "Cornering is impressive," said Abbott. "It's definitely a point-and- shoot bike. The bike's layout al- lows you to get way up on the tank - almost too far sometimes - and the bike has a very light and agile feel to it, it's very easy to maneuver. It's a great bike for tight tracks. You can easily hook an inside line, or sweep the outside. Both ways work well with the KTM.
