In the main, he had a sixth-place
start and like many of the other rid-
ers, Stewart wasn't able to make
many passes. He did get past
Andrew Short at the checkers to
take fifth. After the race, he was
noticeably exhausted. Through
out it all, though, he did climb from
third to second in the points race
(having passed Ryan Dungey who
crashed in the main) but is still 45
points behind Villopoto with three
races remaining.
"This was a rough week for
me," Stewart said right after the
race. "I don't know what I had, a
stomach bug or whatnot. Feel-
ing pretty weak right now. I came
here [to Houston] and it got worse
today. I rode two laps [of the first
timed practice session] and had
to pull off, I started feeling really
