in December after some deci-
sions were made and then talk-
ing with the FIM to see what can
be the chances. I knew Scott and
his skills and his way of working. I
said I thought he was the person
to use. Then there was Christmas
time and even though we have
been working during Christmas,
Scott as well, the first draft of the
rules was in the first or second
week of November. Then things
needed to be looked at, and re-
member that we have many cate-
gories, not just World Superbike.
Some things were not written in
the way we wanted, or we made
mistakes, which is normal. When
100 people look at something in-
stead of three then it is easier to
find a mistake. My goal for next
year is to be much, much earlier.

lip Island I could have the future
rules ready I would be the happi-

working on the rules package for
2014 has also been considering
what will be happening for the
2015 season. So automatically
you are using your time in two
directions. If only we had the Su-
perbike rules to use then it would
have been much quicker.
GL: We have to work on Su-
perbike, Supersport and Stock
1000, which has not changed,
but we need to revise the Stock
600, which comes from a differ-
ent Federation. We have a proce-
dure of 2015 rules, as Scott said.
We also have a procedure of new
homologations, which we need
to consider as well as a technical
package, and it takes some time.
You cannot do these things in
one night. You need to consider
many things.
No Bimota in the homologa-
tion lists? Will we see Bimota
at all this year?
GL: I could say that there is a
good chance that Bimota could
join us at some stage. The real-
ity is that that bike does not ex-
