chance for a third win.
"I got a really crappy start,"
Roczen said. "I struggled a bit in
the beginning and then I got into
a groove. Those whoops were
tough and I messed them up real-
ly bad on one lap and that's what
allowed Barcia to get a gap on
me. Then RD (Dungey) was com-
ing, but I was able to hold him off
to get fourth."
Fifth was Trey Canard, who fi-
nally got back on the track after
breaking his arm way back over
the Thanksgiving Weekend, that
turned in a solid performance to
finish fifth, the Team Muscle Milk
Honda rider admitting he was a
little tight during the early laps
due to the "jitters," but finally re-
laxed and rode up to his poten-
tial.
"Overall I feel pretty good get-
ting fifth in my first race back,"
said Canard. "I had good times
in practice and I felt good on
the bike, but it'll be good to
get another race under my belt
and get the jitters worked out.
