Baylor was second fastest in
the first three tests and he was
able to put a good cushion on
DeLong and Hufford, who were
battling over third.
"This is some pretty fast stuff, I
think we were running a 30 mph
average," said Baylor, who is rid-
ing a 450 XC this year instead of
his usual 250 two-stroke. "I think
the 450 was a good choice for
this race. I was able to really get
it going on some of that stuff, and
I think I had an advantage out
there."
