MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS SERIES VOL. 51 ISSUE 12 MARCH 25, 2014 P57 even looked as though he would win the main event after pass- ing early leader Ken Roczen and started pulling away. Barcia would lead the next 11 laps, but that was only until Stewart caught up and made the pass for the win on lap 14. But Barcia would hang on to second at the finish, even after a few scares along the way. Briefly... missing the Detroit round a week earlier. "I broke my finger at Daytona and it was super swollen so I didn't ride last week," Tedesco said. "The swelling went down this week and I could grip better, so I gave it a shot today." Tedesco rode well most of the day but went down hard in the whoops early in the main event. "My whole back is killing right now," he said. "I was riding pretty good but I'm hurting bad right now." Cycle Trader Rock River Yamaha's Ben Lamay was not in attendance in Toronto. He has not yet fully recov- ered from a concussion he suffered the week before at Detroit. Team manager Christina Denny said, "He hit his head pretty hard and is taking some time off. We actually want him to skip the remainder of Supercross, because he is our guy outdoors and we want him to be 100 percent ready for the start of that in May." Privateer Chris Blose's weekend was a bust - he blew a cam roller in the first practice and didn't have any of the parts, manpower or time to fix it. "We blew a motor and there's not much I can do at this point," he said. "Hopefully I can get it all figured out before next weekend I guess." GEICO Honda's Eli Tomac was out again for the second week in a row with a shoulder injury, but he is ex- pected back at St. Louis next week- end. "He's been resting and rehab- bing and training and we think he should be good to go next week," said a GEICO team member. "Same with Blake Wharton who sustained a knee injury at Daytona, we think he'll be back as well." continued on next page Justin Bogle (32) claimed his first Supercross win in the 250 class, ending the Pro Circuit win streak.
