art set a new milestone at To-
ronto and proved a point in the
process. On a technical and rutty track,
Stewart came through the pack after
a dismal start and put together jump
combinations that had the best riders
in the world scratching their heads af-
ter the race.

pack, eventually passing race leader
Justin Barcia on lap 14 en route to his

career win, surpassing Ricky Car-
michael for second place on the all-
time Supercross win list. He trails only
Jeremy McGrath who has 72 wins.
Even Stewart admitted it was one of
his best ever races inside a stadium.
"It was definitely the best race I've
had in a long time," he said. "I passed
everybody. I was really far back and
to win and break the record like that,
it's special. It's going to be one of the
races I truly remember in my lifetime."

Villopoto, however, had a weekend he
would rather forget as he spent a good
portion of the day in the hospital with
what his team said a case of food poi-
soning. Villopoto didn't ride any of the
practice sessions but came out for
opening ceremonies and then lined up
for the first heat race.
"It was a tough day, but we got it
checked out and under control and got
cleared to race," Villopoto said. "I got
out there and did as well as I could to
have a good night and we did not set
