head battle down to the final field
section, with Strang grabbing the
final podium position by less than
one second.
"It's always good to be racing
with someone, it keeps you going
in a long three-hour race," Strang
said. "I got in front of him [Thad] on
the last lap and I figured if I could
stay in front of him in the woods I
would be okay through the grass
track. The track was a lot of fun
and I'm really happy to get a po-
dium finish at the first round."
