and I'm still getting used to it. Dur-
ing the race, I thought something
felt funny and I felt like I couldn't
ride like I felt like I should be, then
after the race we discovered I had
some broken fork internals."
Tearing It Up On A 250
Am Pro Yamaha's Brad Bakken
was ninth-fastest in the first test,
but picked up the pace from
the second test on and finished
out the day in sixth. The Virginia
Hare Scrambles Champion looked
smooth on his YZ250F, and will def-
initely finish higher when the series
moves to more wide open terrain.
"The first couple of sections
were kind of beat up and it was
a little tougher than I anticipated,
but I only had a couple of bob-
bles," said Bakken. "A lapper
turned into me in one test and we
both went down, but other than
that, I had a good day, although I
was hoping to be a little higher up
in the standings."
